We are committed to giving newcomers the chance to present their projects to the international games industry – for FREE! And as devcom has diversity at its core, we especially support diverse teams!
- 20 playable games will be shown onsite in Cologne, Germany.
- 15 additional games will be presented at our virtual expo in our official devcom Event App.

The devcom Indie Award
The devcom Indie Award 2024 will take place on Sunday evening, August 18, at the prestigious devcom Networking Dinner in Cologne, which will be attended by ~400 speakers, VIPs, invited partners, and sponsors.
The contestants are all developers and studios taking part in the NRW Indie Showcase, so if you’re selected as a participant, you’re automatically a candidate for the devcom Indie Award.
This year, the award features 4 awesome categories, each of which come with a trophy and a sweet 3,000 € prize:

Mobile Marvels – presented by G5 Entertainment :
“Dungeons of Dreadrock: The Dead King’s Secret” – Christoph Minnameier, Germany
A top-down grid-based story-driven puzzle adventure and the 2nd part of the “Dungeons of Dreadrock” trilogy.
It features another 100 levels driven by a unique story and featuring multiple endings that allow the players to make their own moral choice in the end.
Just as in part one, the game features a strong female protagonist as a role-model.
